Our Vision

Huggard Bible Church Vision Statement

Our vision is a church that is a unified in Spirit, faith, and purpose who is eager to maintain it (Eph 4: 1-5). One that is thriving and glorifying God by bearing much fruit. A church that is worshiping God filled with awe and wonder seeing God at work in each of us as we:

  • a) Submit to the teaching of God's word (Acts 2:42-47)
  • b) Deepen our relationship with God and one another
  • a) Celebrate the grace of God through Jesus as we commit to praying more and more
  • d) Where we come together and encourage one another (Reb 3: 13), and stimulate one another to love and good deeds (Reb 10:24-25)
  • e) Reach out sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ

We see the purpose of the church is to make disciples which is the focus of the Sunday School hour, Sunday Evening, small interactive group Bible studies, discipleship teams working one on one with new believers to establish them in the faith, and through special events (Matt 28:18-20; Co13:16).

We see a church that has active fellowship that goes on throughout the week sharing the word of God, strengthening and encouraging one another, praying for one another, ministering to one another, and actively living out the one another’s (Acts 2:42-47; Rom 12:4-16; Gal 5:13, 6:2).

We see a thriving local body of Christ where we receive one another and all are working as a team and God's fellow laborers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Eph 4:1-16; 1 Thess 3:1-5, Acts 2:42-47).

We see leadership training and new leadership development through special seminars, monthly meetings, and personal one on one investing.

We see a thriving men's and woman's ministry where each have their own monthly meeting for a prayer breakfast. Where the men/women gather together in small groups throughout the month studying God's word, praying for each other, helping each other grow spiritually.

We see a church that is passionate to win the lost for Christ by building relationships with the unsaved and sharing Christ with them. We see our church becoming more involved in our community to help draw people to Christ and our church.

We see training on how to reach out to the unsaved and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We see a church that is full of joy and anticipation and is actively inviting others to our church.

We see a church that is passionate about God's glory in our personal testimony and that of our church, proud of our meeting place as a tool to serve God.
